Yoshimasa Tsuchiya is an up-and-coming Japanese sculptor who uses traditional Buddhist techniques to create wood carving animals, including animals in mythical and imagination. The motif of LAMMFROMM original plush toy “Catloaf” is based on Tsuchiya’s wooden sculpture.  Like Tsuchiya’s other animal works,  the Catloaf has crystal eyes, featuring delicate pale color, transience and kindness overflowing from the entire work.
